03

The Portal may allow you to reschedule the class, create an automatic makeup class, or cancel without replacement.
OPTION 01 Reschedule Class

OPTION 02 Auto Makeup Class

OPTION 03 No Reschedule

Invoices & Billing

Each student follows an individual study plan, and the Billing area allows students and parents to review invoices, payment status and the payment method linked to the account.

Important billing rule: Whether the account uses Manual Payment or Automatic Payment, the next invoice is not issued until the lessons included in the current billing cycle have been completed and properly actioned in the Portal. If an eligible makeup class is still pending, that makeup class must be completed first. Only after the current cycle is fully completed will the next invoice be issued or the automatic payment be processed.
MANUAL PAYMENT Pay Each Invoice Yourself

After the current billing cycle is fully completed and the new invoice is issued, the student or parent completes the payment manually through the available payment options.

AUTOMATIC PAYMENT Automatic Card Deduction

After the current billing cycle is fully completed, including any required makeup classes, the amount is automatically charged to the authorized card or payment method on file.

SAME BILLING TIMING No Early Invoice or Deduction

The timing rule is the same for both methods: completion of the current cycle comes first, then the next invoice or automatic charge.

05
Billing & Invoices Review issued invoices, payment status and billing information.
Use the Billing section to review invoices that have been issued after the relevant study cycle is completed, together with the current payment status.
06
Payment Options Use Manual Payment or, when enabled, Automatic Payment.
For Manual Payment, the available payment methods are shown when an invoice is ready to be paid. For Automatic Payment, the authorized card or payment method is charged only after the current billing cycle is fully completed.
Helpful tip: Tap or click any Portal screenshot above to open the original full-size image in a new tab.
02 Dress Code +

Students should ensure that their clothing is modest and appropriate for Holy Quran classes.

Classes are part of a respectful Islamic learning environment, and students should present themselves accordingly.
03 Rearranged & Makeup Classes +
Important: Please read this section carefully, as it determines whether a missed lesson is eligible for a makeup class.
1
If a student cannot attend a lesson, the teacher must be informed at least 4 hours before the class begins. The class may then be rearranged for another suitable day and time.
2
A maximum of three rearranged classes per month is permitted, regardless of the student's study plan.
3
If a student misses a class without providing the required 4-hour notice, the lesson will normally not be replaced.
4
Exceptions may be considered in genuine emergencies, such as sudden illness or a death in the family.
5
For short class cancellations lasting less than one week, students should normally coordinate through the teacher or Portal rather than contacting support for each individual lesson.

Student Holidays

If a student plans to take a holiday or extended break, both the teacher and Academy administration should be informed in advance.

Unpaid Invoices

An invoice becomes payable only after it has been issued in accordance with the Academy's billing cycle. Classes may be suspended when an issued invoice remains unpaid for a full month.

The next invoice is not issued before the current billing cycle is fully completed and properly actioned in the Portal, including any eligible makeup classes that are still due.

Once an invoice has been issued, it should be settled according to the selected payment method. If an issued invoice remains unpaid, the student's lessons may be paused until the outstanding balance is resolved.

04 Teachers' Punctuality +

Occasionally, a teacher may be unable to attend or may be delayed because of an unforeseen circumstance such as a power outage, internet interruption or medical emergency.

If your teacher is late, you may send a reminder through your Portal profile to confirm that you are online and waiting.

Any class time legitimately missed because of the teacher will be compensated or made up.

If a teacher is repeatedly late or absent, please contact the Academy support team so the issue can be reviewed promptly.

05 Number of Monthly Classes & Hours +

The number of classes and monthly study hours is agreed upon when the student enrolls.

Students who wish to increase or reduce their study hours should contact the Academy so the study plan and scheduling can be updated.

Extra study hours: Students may add additional hours to their current study plan at any time. The regular study-hour rate is $8.50 USD.
06 Quality Control +

The Academy continuously monitors teaching quality and the overall learning experience.

  • Monitoring student and teacher attendance.
  • Following punctuality and classroom discipline.
  • Providing ongoing teacher training.
  • Collecting feedback from students and teachers.
  • Reviewing student progress and Portal reports.
  • Following learning performance over time.
07 Class & Progress Reports +

Teachers are required to record lesson times and provide a brief lesson summary after each class.

Students and parents can use these reports to monitor learning progress, understand what was covered and follow the student's development over time.

Progress information is available through the Firdaws Academy Portal, making it easier for families to follow the learning journey.
08 Rating & Feedback +

The Quality Department may contact students or parents after they have attended several lessons to request feedback about their experience.

Please tell us about any concern, question, complaint or suggestion. Your feedback helps us improve teaching quality and student support.

09 Privacy Policy +

Firdaws Academy respects the privacy of both students and teachers.

Personal information should be treated as confidential and must not be accessed, copied, distributed or used without proper authorization.

Official Academy communication channels and Academy-provided systems should be used for formal communication between students, teachers and administration.
10 Payment Policy +

After the Trial Lesson

Once the student successfully completes the trial lesson and decides to continue, the initial subscription should be completed before regular lessons begin.

Two Payment Methods: Manual & Automatic

The Firdaws Academy Portal supports two billing methods for ongoing study: Manual Payment and Automatic Payment. The payment method changes how the amount is collected, but it does not change when the next billing cycle is created.

MANUAL PAYMENT Student / Parent Pays the Invoice

When the current billing cycle has been fully completed, the Portal issues the next invoice. The student or parent then opens the invoice and completes payment manually using the available payment method.

AUTOMATIC PAYMENT Automatic Deduction

When Automatic Payment is enabled, no manual payment action is required for the next cycle. After the current billing cycle is fully completed, the amount is automatically deducted from the authorized card or payment method on file.

BILLING CONDITION Completion Comes First

In both methods, the next invoice or automatic deduction happens only after the current cycle has been completed and properly actioned in the Portal.

When Is the Next Invoice Issued?

The next invoice is issued only after the current study cycle is complete. This rule applies equally to Manual Payment and Automatic Payment.

A billing cycle is considered complete when the lessons included in that cycle have been completed and the required class actions have been properly recorded in the Portal.

If an eligible makeup or replacement class is still outstanding, the Academy will complete that makeup first. The next invoice will then be issued — or, for Automatic Payment accounts, the automatic deduction will be processed — after the outstanding makeup class and the current cycle have been completed.

In simple terms: Current lessons → any required makeup classes → cycle completed in the Portal → next invoice issued / automatic payment processed.

Remaining or Makeup Classes

Students should arrange any eligible remaining or makeup classes with the teacher as soon as possible. These classes are completed before the next billing cycle is issued or automatically charged.

If a student is stopping study instead of continuing to the next cycle, eligible unused classes may be handled under the Academy's Refund Policy.

11 Refund Policy +
100% of eligible unused classes can be refunded if a student decides to stop studying during the month.

Students should notify the Academy at least two days before the intended stopping date.

If the agreed number of study hours has not been completed during a particular month, the student should arrange the remaining classes with the teacher as soon as possible at times suitable for both parties. Where the student is continuing, the next invoice or automatic deduction is processed only after the current cycle and any eligible makeup classes have been completed.

12 Public Holidays +

Firdaws Academy recognizes the two principal Islamic Eid holidays: Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha.

EID AL-ADHA 5 Days

The Academy's standard Eid al-Adha break lasts five days.

EID AL-FITR 3 Days

The Academy's standard Eid al-Fitr break lasts three days.

PLEASE NOTE No Makeup

Lessons scheduled during these Academy breaks are not normally made up.

Lessons falling within the official Eid break are regarded by the Academy as a gift to the teacher and are therefore not replaced.
13 Studying Through Firdaws Academy Only +

Students enrolled through Firdaws Academy must continue their lessons with their assigned teacher through the Academy's official system.

Private study arrangements between an Academy student and an Academy teacher outside Firdaws Academy are not permitted.
14 Leaving the Academy +

If a student decides to leave Firdaws Academy, please notify the administration at least two days before the intended leaving date.

We also appreciate knowing the reason for leaving, as this helps the Academy identify areas that may need improvement.

15 Student Feedback Form +

Students and parents are kindly encouraged to complete the Academy feedback form at the end of their first month and whenever they would like to share additional feedback afterwards.
